Anyone who has ever come in contact with JULIE BRANHAM knows immediately what she is all about. Julie has been involved in music since she was a young child. She was raised in a Christian home and a musical family and has always been driven by one thing…to use her gifts and talents for God’s glory.
Through the years Julie’s talents have matured into a multifaceted ministry as a vocalist/vocal coach, pianist, keyboardist, choral director, worship leader, songwriter/arranger, background vocalist, recording artist, and producer.
Throughout high school Julie was singing demos for small recording studios most days after school and produced her own 12 song demo of original songs by the age of 15. After graduating from high school she was offered her first full-time, professional singing position with the touring group Red Letter Edition. She traveled the country for three years (60,000 miles/11 months per year) performing approximately 250+ concerts per year. She also recorded three albums with this award-winning group.
In her 19+ years as a professional artist/songwriter, Julie has recorded radio jingles and performed on several TV shows around the country, as well as being a studio & live background singer and keyboard player for various recording artists. She has performed over 1,000 concerts throughout the years, some of them for as many as 50,000+ people.
Julie served as a worship leader for over 10 years at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs with Pastor Raul Reis…one of the largest churches in the country. She was also a featured artist/worship leader for several years with the “Somebody Loves You” crusades and “Pensando En Ti” crusades. Julie continues to lead worship for various churches and other ministry events as an itinerant worship leader. She also founded and directed the Heart & Soul Gospel Choir (Soul Choir) out of Southern California.
Julie ministers in churches, arenas, prisons, military bases, coffee houses, schools, retreats, festivals/crusades, conventions and seminars, luncheons/dinners, and has an active ministry to the homeless.
Julie’s first solo CD entitled “Secret Place” received an enthusiastic response from listeners of all ages, and its title song “Secret Place” has been sung in church worship services around the country.
Julie has just released her long-awaited, highly anticipated sophomore release entitled“Forever Changed.” This is a superb collection of songs filled with joyous celebration and intense reflection on God’s undying love for mankind. Julie wrote and co-wrote 9 of the 11 songs on the album.
Julie’s deep desire is to continue taking the message of hope and salvation, through Jesus Christ, around the world.
Julie is a member of the Gospel Music Association, ASCAP, and has also been an Artist Associate for World Vision.
